The self-proclaimed Prime Minister is under official suspicion

The suspicion against the self-proclaimed "Prime Minister of the Republic of Carpathian Ruthenia" Petro Hetsko of infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine has been approved.

This was reported to the Ukrainska Pravda by the press service of the General Prosecutor.

"The Prosecution Office in Transcarpathian region approved the suspicion against Petro Hetsko of having committed criminal offenses under Part 1 of Art. 109 (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow the constitutional order or seizure of state power), Part 2 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine if repeated by prior conspiracy) and Part 1 of Art. 111 (treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine", – the statement says.

During the pre-trial investigation, the involvement of Hetsko in other illegal acts was determined.

Currently, pre-trial investigation in the said criminal proceeding continues. It’s progress is controlled by the regional prosecutor’s office.

Previously, Petro Hetsko was already notified of being suspected of infringement of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine repeated by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
