The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region is monitoring the activities of anti-Ukrainian forces trying to undermine the situation both in the region and in the country through dissemination of various kinds of provocative statements in the media.
Another fake about the demands of "autonomy", that this time allegedly were heard from representatives of the Hungarian minority, was posted on the first of December on the media resources close to the corporation "Industrial Union of Donbass".
It stated about the creation of the so-called Committee of Foreign Affairs, which was supposed to represent the interests of Hungarians internationally independently from Ukraine.
The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region checked the facts stated in the article, interviewed all persons mentioned in it. As a result of the check, representatives of the Ukrainian secret service found out that the stated information was untrue.
The Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region sees in those actions signs of information warfare, attempts to sow discord in the multi-ethnic region and make a "picture" in favor of the aggressor.
The Security Service of Ukraine identified all persons involved in the creation of this fake message and similar provocations and took necessary measures within the law.
