Units of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the National Police, the State Border Guard Service, representatives of state authorities and local self-government took part in the training.
The purpose of the training was to improve interagency cooperation to prevent possible terrorist and sabotage threats in the territory of one of the critical infrastructure facilities of the region.
According to the scenario, a saboteur arrived in one of the settlements to prepare and carry out a terrorist attack at the specified facility. The participants of the training rehearsed a set of actions to respond to the commission of illegal activities.
Following the training, the Coordination Group noted the effectiveness of the use of forces and means of counteracting terrorism and adjusted the algorithms of interagency cooperation.
