The Security Service is investigating offenses by surveyors

In Transcarpathia. the Security Service of Ukraine revealed facts of abuse in the land sector.

         In the Transcarpathian region, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the corrupt activities of surveyors at a public institution. Acting on prior conspiracy, the offenders removed from government property almost two hectares of valuable land

During the land planning activities, the officials deliberately changed the configuration of the land parcel. This led to the transfer of part of it to free use for commercial purposes.

The prosecutor’s office of Transcarpathian region launched a preliminary investigation. The criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Art. 364 (abuse of power or position) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been opened.
