24-25 August, an interesting and spectacular second round of the championship of Ukraine and the XXIX traditional interregional motorcycle cross, dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the Day of physical culture and sports, took place.
Traditionally, the competition took place in the picturesque Termachuv tract on the outskirts of Velyky Berezny near the village of Zabrod. Thousands of fans, mostly young families, curiously watched the decisive race of the best motocrossmen of Ukraine and Transcarpathia on the 1.5 km track with steep ascents and descents in all classes of motorcycles (500, 150, 65 and 50 cubic meters). Both children and adults were taking photos and video. Local entrepreneurs launched trade, people could enjoy plenty of delicious kebabs, sausages and other foods, ice cream, soft drinks. Local talent entertained audience with a small concert organized by the district department of culture.
