The sale of electronic tickets over the Internet for the train Kyiv – Rakhiv will open on April 20

On April 20, the UZ will open sale of electronic travel documents for another passenger train – № 457/458 Kyiv – Rakhiv. With the e-ticket, that passengers can print out on their own, one can board a train, bypassing the box office.

At present, e-tickets via the Internet can be purchased for al year-roundl internal communication trains, except summer trains and trains, the numbers of which begin with 600 and 800. For these trains, blanks can be purchased online that must be exchanged at the box office for a regular train ticket. This service is free.  

In general, in 2015 passengers have bought and booked 2.1 million tickets over the Internet (21.6% of total ticket sales), including 1.7 million e-tickets. 

Recall that sale of travel documents on the Internet was introduced in late 2008. Since then, more than 15.7 million tickets, including 5.4 million e-tickets have been sold over the worldwide web.

Earlier it was reported that on March 29, 2015, the UZ accelerated the train number 457 Kyiv – Rakhiv by almost an hour. In addition to the residents of Kyiv and Rakhiv, residents of Khmelnytsky, Ternopil Terebovlya, Chertkov, Zalishchyky, Kolomyia and Vorokhta can also use the train.
