The road to the “Arpad Line” in Volovets district is being paved

In the village of Verkhnya Hrabivnytsia (Volovets district), workers have began to repair the road leading to the "Arpad Line". – This is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Transcarpathia, which is visited by many people from all over Ukraine every year, and the road there is in a bad state, – Hennadiy Moskal says. – So we decided to streamline it, pave the entrance road. The works are financed by the Road Fund and will be completed in the near future. For reference: The "Arpad Line" is a monument of the Second World War era, built by the Hungarian military to protect Hungary from the Red Army. Today, about 800 meters of underground bunker networks with firing points, barracks, kitchen, bathrooms and armories are open for tourists.
