In Irshava district, road builders have begun repairing the road "Kamyanske – Beregovo", which has not been renovated since 1992.  The lion’s share of funding for the repair will be covered from the regional budget, another 200 thousand hryvnia was allocated by Kamyanske village council.

– The road builders will lay 1.3-kilometer-long continuous asphalt coating, and will perform maintenance where the road is more or less normal condition, – Hennadiy Moskal said. – The total length of the repaired stretch is about 6 kilometers. The road "Kamyanske – Beregovo" connects two districts and is on the balance sheet of the Road Service. It is used by trucks driving from the international checkpoint "Luzhanka" (on Ukrainian-Hungarian border) to the road "Mukachevo – Rohatyn." Heavy trucks have completely broken the asphalt coating, so local residents for fifteen years have been asking for the repair of the road. But no one listened to them. Now we are building the road that will withstand heavy traffic for many years. The work should be completed by May holidays.
