The restoration of the Cathedral sanctuary has been completed (PHOTOS)

Correspondent of the Uzhgorod.in already informed that Uzhgorod Greek Catholic Exaltation of the Cross Cathedral has been being restored since 2011. 

Before the commencement of the work, specialists of Lviv National Academy of Arts and Transcarpathian art historian Mykhailo Pryimych had conducted some research. And recently, restoration of the sanctuary of the Cathedral has been completed.

According to Mykhailo Pryimych, they restored the painting of the late 18th century. However, they also found the painting of angels from the middle of the same century.
