On Wednesday, September 7, at 17:00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka", there will be the recital of the legend of Ukrainian cinema and theater, People’s Artist of Ukraine Raisa Nedashkivska.
She made her debut at 17 in the movie "Forest Song", where she played the role of Mavka. She starred in famous Ukrainian films – "Dream", "Viper," "Commissar", "Honore de Balzac’s Mistake", "Born by the Revolution," "Babylon XX", "Yaroslav the Wise", "Karmelyuk", "Melancholic Waltz", "Roksolana", "Black Council"… The winner of international awards for the best female role, recipient of the Order of Princess Olga. Today, Raisa Nedashkivska is the first deputy chairman of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine.
During the recital in Uzhgorod, excerpts from famous movies will be screened, the People’s Artist will recite Ukrainian poetry, tell about her career and answer questions of the audience.
The legend of Ukrainian cinema will stay in Transcarpathia a few days.
