The reason of the self-immolation attempt in front of the RSA building may be the land

As uzhgorod.in reported, today on Narodna Square, right on the lawn in front of the RSA building, a man tried to commit self-immolation.

According to the press service of the Office Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, at 10.25, Senior Sergeant of State Security Service, who was on duty at the entrance to the building of the regional administration, saw a man sitting on the lawn in front of the building. When the policeman came up to him, to find out what was going on, the man began to back away, then took a bottle with some liquid, doused himself and set a lighted cigarette lighter to himself. The Senior Sergeant instantly threw off his body armor and use it to extinguish the flames that engulfed the suicide, thus saving his life. And then he called an ambulance.

The police have identified the man – it was a 49-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. He is now in intensive care and can not yet explain his actions. According to the mother of the victim, who the police talked to, he had a long conflict with a neighbor about the division of land. Apparently, having lost faith in the possibility of conflict resolution, the man resorted to self-immolation.

Currently, the police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
