The organizers of the Real Day of the City sent thanks for the support and the opportunity to hold an alternative holiday for all Uzhgorod residents:
"On the first Sunday of October, an alternative celebration of the Day of the City was held in Uzhgorod. Having summed up and analyzed the event, the organizers noted that everything went without any major losses and significant errors.
The Organizing Committee expresses immense gratitude to every person who made the realization of this ambitious idea possible. The holiday was really made by the citizens for all residents of Uzhgorod.
It is possible that next year thanks to the joint efforts of concerned and active enthusiasts, the Real Day of the City will be back!" – the statement reads.
