Gross domestic product of Ukraine in the third quarter of 2013 has decreased by 1.5% compared to the third quarter of 2012.
This is stated in the report of the State Statistics Service, which was published on their website on Wednesday.
According to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine’s GDP for the III quarter of 2013 compared to the III quarter of 2012 was 98.5% and compared to the II quarter of 2013 and seasonally adjusted was 99.6%.
As earlier reported, the World Bank downgraded its forecast for economic growth in Ukraine in 2013 to 0% from the previously projected rate of 1%.
Recall that according to the IMF, the GDP of Ukraine in 2013 will amount to 0%, according to international audit company "Ernst & Young" – 1.1%, while the EBRD predicts GDP drop by 0.5%.
According to the state budget for the current year, nominal GDP in 2013 should reach 1.576 trillion hryvnias, GDP growth – 3.4%.
