The race at 2016 meters took place in Mukachevo. Near City Hall, athletes were welcomed by Santa Clause, who, however, decided not to join the participants.
The youngest participants – not older than 11 years – were competing at half the distance.
These events aroused great interest in the city, among the participants, there were the city council members and the new police officers… Many participants came with families. Thus, five-year-old Eric Olchedayivsky and six-year-old Olesya Kalcheva became the youngest participants. The kids were running together with their elder sisters Oleksandra and Lyudmyla, and brother Oleksiy. The competition was successful for Carina and Oleksandr Brodnikov, and Nina Raschupkina was running with her her children Vladislav, Katerina and Nina…
At the finish, all participants received hot tea, goodies, and gifts from Santa Claus.
