The provision of housing for privileged Transcarpathian continues

The current legislation provides for the monetary compensation for the purchase of housing for the families of people killed during the anti-terrorist operation in the east of the Ukraine, as well as the participants of the ATO with group I-II disability, which need improvement of living conditions. In Transcarpathian region, in 2015, 33 apartments at UAH 18.3 million were purchased for such families. In 2016, 20 families purchased apartments for state subsidies for a total amount of UAH 11.6 million. In 2017, 9 families received apartments at total cost of UAH 5.65 million.

Another family of a deceased ATO participant plans to buy apartment in the near future for the state subsidy of 2017.

In 2018, the need for the aforementioned monetary compensation is UAH 2.3 million for the purchase of apartments for 2 families of deceased ATO participants and the family of a Transcarpathian with group II disability. At present, the region has received part of the funds in the amount of UAH 1.8 million, which was distributed for payment of the abovementioned compensation to the cities of Mukachevo and Tyachiv district.

In accordance with the legislation on monetary compensation for the purchase of housing for internally displaced persons, who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the need for Transcarpathia for the said compensation is UAH 3.1 million for three people. The first tranche of the funding is expected to come in August.
