The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the murder of the dog Altai by a drunken Transcarpathian deputy

There is the official reaction to the information about the murder of a forester’s dog by a drunken deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Myron Pompel.

Thus, Uzhgorod inter-district prosecutor’s office initiated pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding over cruelty to animals (Part 1 of Art. 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, it has been established that Uzhgorod Police Department had received from a forester of Antalovtsi Forestry a report that in the forest near the village of Antalovtsi, Uzhgorod district, where he was guarding fir trees, his Husky dog had been shot.
The investigation continues.

We are following this case and remind that during a hunt, Transcarpathian Regional Council deputy shot the dog and offended the forester. Currently, the dog owner is being threatened.
