According to the investigation, the incident happened today, August 10. The 36-year-old man, on the territory of a household in the village of Simer in Perechyn district, committed sexual acts against an 11-year-old victim who is his relative.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility. The prosecutor’s office will request a pre-trial restraint in the form of custody against him.
Further pre-trial investigation will be carried out by the Perechyn police department under the procedural control of the local prosecutor’s office.
