The cost of medicines is fully or partially covered by the state.
2. When will the program start working?
The program starts on April 1, 2017. Pharmacies voluntarily sign agreement with the local authorities and become participants in the program.
3. Why these categories of diseases?
The mechanism of medicine cost reimbursement applies to cardiovascular disease, type II diabetes and asthma.
Treatment of these diseases was given the priority, because they most affect mortality rates or significantly reduce quality of life and can be effectively treated at the outpatient level.
