Over the course of several days, billboards of 9 potential bidders for the upcoming presidential election in Uzhgorod were defaced with paint.
Observers of the OPORA recorded defaced billboards of the leader of the "Batkivshchyna" Party Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleg Lyashko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the leader of the Party of Peace Vadim Novinsky (several cases) and the leader of the "Hromadyanska Pozytsiya" party Anatoly Hrytsenko. Also, red paint was poured on the billboards of the representative of the "Samopomich" party Andriy Sadovy, the leader of the "Osnova" party Serhiy Taruta and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the city-light of the leader of the "Nashi" party Yevhen Murayev.
As it became known in the evening, on December 13, representatives of one of the radical right-wing organizations operating in Transcarpathian region, claimed on their Facebook page that it was them who poured paint on the billboards. However, there is no verified information on who really defaced the billboards with paint.
