The President granted the honorary title “Mother-heroine” to 85 residents of Transcarpathia

The President Petro Poroshenko signed the decree "On granting of the honorary title "Mother-heroine" to 883 Ukrainian women, including 85 residents of Transcarpathian region. In particular, those are 30 residents of Irshava district, 24 residents of Tyachiv distrist, 16 residents of Rahiv district, 5 residents of Khust district, 3 residents of Mukachevo district, two residents of Volovets district, one resident of Svalyava district, three residents of the city of Uzhgorod and one resident of the city of Mukachevo.

The title is granted to women who have raised five or more children to the age of eight years, ensured the right conditions for their intellectual, physical and spiritual development.
The recipients of the honorary title will be awarded a breastplate and a certificate, paid a one-time remuneration of 10 times the subsistence minimum set for able-bodied persons. Today, this amount is 17,620 hryvnia.
