According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dated May 4, 2019, No. 188/2019 "On Decoration with State Awards of Ukraine", five Transcarpathians received presidential awards and honorary titles.
Thus, for a significant personal contribution to state building, socio-economic, cultural and educational development of Ukraine, significant achievements and high professionalism, the title "Honored Doctor of Ukraine" was granted to Yugas Victor Karlovych – doctor, forensic expert of the Transcarpathian Regional Bureau of Forensic Medicine.
Honorary title "Honored Teacher of Ukraine" was granted to Lemak Oksana Ivanivna – the principal of the Svalyava secondary school No. 2 of the Svalyava District Council.
Honorary title "Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine" was granted to Mandzyuk Volodymyr Petrovych – the principal of Sokyrnytsia secondary school with in-depth study of French language of the Khust district state administration.
Honorary title "People’s Artist of Ukraine" was granted to Spivak Volodymyr Hryhorovych – the artistic director of the brass band of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
The Order "For Merits" of the III degree was granted to Koshelya Vasyl Mykhailovych – the chair of the Standing Committee of the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
