The possibility of opening another checkpoint between Ukraine and Slovakia will be discussed in September

According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovakia Yuriy Mushka, in September, the establishment of such checkpoint will be discussed at the Joint Committee of Kosice. At the moment, there are two checkpoints with Ukraine – "Vysne Nemecke" and "Ubl’a".

– We need more checkpoints, it is also necessary to reconstruct the checkpoint Vysne Nemecke in Uzhgorod. Half of the checkpoint does not work there. However, it is necessary to build not only more crossing points, but also the infrastructure, – the KORZAR quotes Yuriy Mushka.

According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovakia, Ukraine has good neighborly relations with Slovakia. During two months of visa-free travel, according to Mushka, about 200 thousand Ukrainians crossed the border with EU.

– There have been no problems. Have you had problems with Ukrainian citizens in the last two months? Have there been any scandals? Thousands of Ukrainians have crossed the border in the eastern Slovakia. There have been no problem with them. Slovakia can serve as an example. You are our neighbor, – Yuriy Mushka said.
