Politicians, parties and political blocs in Uzhgorod are campaigning before the election in full. Wherever you look, you’ll see faces of candidates: on poles, fences, billboards, benches, in doorways, in shop windows, on trees and bushes, in garbage bins and even right on the street. Political propaganda is everywhere, promises and loud phrases of previously unknown people, who want to be in power, are on every corner. Some give out balloons and pens, and some even offer money for votes.
At the same time, an undeclared war continues in Ukraine. People want peace and tranquility, and the soldiers, who are protecting us from enemies, also need funds for uniforms, body armor, food and warm clothing. Instead, politicians waste millions on "political garbage".
