The Mukachevo police began an investigation into the illegal takeover of a truck. The vehicle has been handed over to the owner for storage. The person involved in the hijacking is currently being identified.
On September 2, around 08:20, a 55-year-old local resident appealed to Mukachevo police. The applicant said that an unknown person had taken his truck Mercedes-Actros with a trailer from a parking lot.
The police immediately started looking for the vehicle. The truck was found on the roadside in the village of Nyzhniy Koropets in Mukachevo district.
The person involved in the stealing of the vehicle is wanted. The police has started investigation over this incident. The investigators have opened a criminal proceeding under Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, the illegal takeover of a motor vehicle. The investigation continues.
