The police prosecutes a resident of Velyky Berezny district for beating of her husband

This feisty resident of the village of Kosteva Pastil in Velyky Berezny district is accused of domestic violence.

A resident of Perechyn phoned to the district police station and reported about a family quarrel in the house of her brother, who lives with his wife in the village of Kosteva Pastil. Worrying about her brother, the woman asked for police intervention because she was sure that her brother is regularly exposed to violence at the hands of his wife.

The investigative team immediately left to the scene. As it turned out, that night, the wife had come home drunk. The husband, of course, did not like it, and he began to quarrel with her. The feisty woman was about to have dinner and she perceived the husband’s words as a challenge. First, she threw a fork at him, and then started to push him and call him names.

This lady often comes home drunk and beats her husband. He never calls the police, because he says that he loves his wife… The police would not have learnt about this incident, if it was not for the sister of the victim.

The woman will be prosecuted for domestic violence according to the law – Miroslava Pekar, Perechyn District Police said.
