The police have notified a Transcarpathian driver, who violated the traffic rules and ran over a cyclist, that he is being suspected

On Pidhorianska street in Mukachevo, the driver of a VAZ 2109 violated the traffic rules and ran over a female cyclist. The victim with serious injuries was hospitalized. The police began an investigation, the driver was notified of being suspected.
In the evening, an accident occurred in Mukachevo. 32-year-old driver of a VAZ-2109 drove into the oncoming traffic lane and hit a 55-year-old cyclist, who was turning left. 

The victim was taken from the accident site to the hospital. The woman suffered heavy bodily injuries.

The police started criminal proceeding over this incident. The investigator of the Mukachevo police department notified the driver, who violated the traffic rules, that he is being suspected of committing an offense under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the traffic rules, which caused severe bodily injury). The perpetrator of the accident faces imprisonment for a term of three to eight years. The investigation continues.
