A 49-year-old resident of Irshava district reported to the police about the disappearance of her 15-year-old daughter and 13-year-old grandson.
The woman said that she had not been able to contact either of them for almost a day. The juvenile police together with officers of Irshava criminal police department immediately initiated a search operation, sent APBs to all districts of the Transcarpathian region. The boy was found in Irshava, the girl – in Uzhgorod. Both were taken to the police station, where they were handed over to their parents. The parents will be brought to administrative liability under Art. 184 of the CAO, that is, child neglect by parents or persons in loco parentis.
The Transcarpathian police ask citizens to immediately report disappearence of persons, especially minors or young children.
