Law enforcers are determining the cause of a traffic accident, which resulted in the death of a resident of the village of Bukovets.
Around 21:35, the police received a report about that the body of a man and a motorcycle had been found in the river, in the "Zakibza" tract.
At the scene, investigators of the Mizhhirya Police Department found out that a 51-year-old local resident driving a motorcycle lost control and drove into the river. The victim died at the accident scene.
Law enforcement officers have started investigating the accident. The police arranged for a number of examinations, which should determine the cause and the circumstances of the accident. The motorcycle was taken to the impound lot. The body of the victim was sent to the dissecting room of Mizhhirya District Hospital.
The investigation under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, violation of traffic safety rules, which caused the victim’s death, has been initiated over the accident.
The investigation continues.
