The police found a woman who had cheated a resident of Perechyn district in Uzhgorod

Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department identified and found the woman, who had committed fraud to seize the phone of a resident of Perechyn district.

A resident of the village of Turya Pasika called the police and reported a crime. The 21-year-old victim told that she was sitting in a cafe in Uzhgorod, when a woman approached her and asked for her phone to make a call. When she got the phone, she quickly got into a car "Opel" and drove off into an unknown direction.

Officer of the Uzhgorod Police Department found out that the person, who had stolen the phone, was a 26-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. A criminal proceeding over this incident was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 190 of the CCU, that is fraud. This offense is punishable by a fine in amount of up to fifty non-taxable minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years, or restriction of liberty for up to three years.
