Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department in conjunction with detectives of the Division for Investigation of Particularly Grave Crimes of the Transcarpathian regional police detained a 40-year-old man for a crime under Part 2 of Art. 189 of the CCU, that is extortion.

The police found out that during February-June of this year the suspect demanded from a 25-year-old resident of Tyachiv district 30 thousand dollars for not sharing in social networks provocative photos and videos with her.
