The police detained thieves, who had stolen a safe from a store in Uzhgorod

The police are investigating the theft of a metal safe from a store. The persons involved in the theft have already been detained.

The police have found out the circumstances of the theft from a store in Uzhgorod. As the investigators have found out, having damaged the entrance door, unknown persons entered the premises and took from there a metal safe weighing about 10 kilograms. The police found those involved in the crime. They were two Uzhgorod citizens. One of the suspects has already been put in a penitentiary institution, the pretrial restraint against the other suspect is being decided.

 Criminal proceeding over the incident has been opened under Part 3 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft with breaking and entering). The investigation continues, the PR department of Transcarpathian regional police reported.
