The pharmacist and owner of an Uzhgorod pharmacy will bear the statutory liability for sale of a combined medicinal product without a prescription.
In the course of operational and preventive measures codenamed "Bathyscaphe", detectives of the anti-drug trafficking sector of Uzhgorod police revealed the fact of the illegal sale of the controlled drugs.
A pharmacist of an Uzhgorod pharmacy sold a combined drug in the amount of 20 pills without a proper prescription. This drug contains codeine phosphate, which is listed in the list of drugs restricted for sale in Ukraine. The owner and pharmacist of the pharmacy will bear the statutory responsibility for violation of the rules of sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The police continue to uncover violations of controlled drugs circulation in pharmacies of Uzhgorod in the course of the operation "Bathyscaphe", which is aimed at preventing the illicit sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors from medical facilities and businesses that use such substances in their manufacture.
