The police claim that the SUV, which was burning in Uzhgorod district, belongs to a notary

Yesterday, near Uzhgorod, an expensive SUV was burning. Acoording to the sources, it may belong to the former prosecutor of the region Mr. Petrunya.

According to the State Emergencies Service, at 23:30, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a car "TOYOTA Land Cruiser" at the address: Uzhgorod district, the village of Mynai, Proektna street.

The fire destroyed the front bumper and the grille. The engine compartment, windshield, hood and fender painting was damaged. The cause of the fire and losses are being established.

Criminal proceeding has been initiated.

According to the police, the investigative team at the scene found out that in the village of Mynai a vehicle owned by a private notary had been set on fire.

Law enforcement officers collected the evidence and sent it for examination. The police classified this incident as arson – Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to fifteen years.
