The police caught a resident of Uzhgorod, who wanted to sell ammunition at the market

The police received a report about a suspicious man, who was offering to buy cartridges. The police found the seller. The investigation over this incident continues.

Uzhgorod law enforcement officers seized 5.45 cartridges from a local resident. A woman reported to the police that her acquaintance was selling ammunition at the market.

District police officers, who responded to the applicant’s information, indeed found a man with prohibited items. The police identified the man. It was a 54-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who was previously convicted for theft.

The man voluntarily gave the policemen a plastic bag with 18 cartridges.

The investigative team seized the prohibited cartridges and sent them for examination.

Criminal proceeding over the incident has been opened under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal use of weapons, ammunition or explosives). The investigation continues.
