The police arrested a criminal, who had stolen almost 4 thousand hryvnia from a stall at the market

Police officers returned the stolen money to the saleswoman, and initiated criminal proceeding against the thief.

He faces imprisonment for three years

A clerk of a shop on the market "Hid" reported a theft to Mukachevo Police Department.    

The woman reported that an unknown man had stolen from her almost 4 thousand hryvnia. The victim tried to catch the man on her own, but he escaped.

Having the description of the thief and reviewing the video from surveillance cameras, officers of the Criminal Police found out that this theft had been committed by a 38-year-old resident of Mukachevo.

A criminal proceeding over this fact was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft).

The maximum sanction of article is imprisonment for up to three years.
