The woman let two unknown men into her home. While one of them was diverting the applicant’s attention, the other one stole cash from the bedroom

On September 13, in the morning, a 60-year-old resident of Uzhgorod appealed to law enforcement officers. The woman said that at about 10 am, on Leo Tolstoy street, two unknown men aged about 40-45 years had asked her to show them the way to the City Hospital.

The applicant trusted the men, got in their car and showed them the way. Then they asked the woman to take their computer for keeping, and took 500 dollars as a security. In the apartment of the victim, one of the men diverted the woman’s attention and the other one stole from the bedroom nine and a half thousand dollars.

Investigators initiated criminal proceeding over this incident under Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud). The detectives are identifying the criminals. The pre-trial investigation continues.
