The exhibition "Planet of Childhood" has opened in Uzhgorod. Young photographers – contest winners – received prizes from the Transcarpathian Regional Council.
Talented pupils of family type orphanages from Uzhgorod district were awarded by the head of Transcarpathia Oleksandr Ledyda at the opening on Thursday, May 30.
Camila has been doing photography for three years now. The girl attends photography classes and dreams of becoming a professional – most of all she likes to portray human emotions and feelings. This requires a quality equipment, so she was sincerely happy to receive the gift from Oleksandr Ledyda:
– I know this is a very expensive thing, I have long dreamed of my own good camera. Now I have another incentive for development – it has so many features, modes, effects! I will learn a new way to take pictures!
Camilla Yurochko and Anastasia Kostik – the winners of the exhibition "Planet of Childhood" – received valuable gifts – digital cameras. Three other pupils of family type orphanages – Yosyp Matolchi, Henrietta Baloh and Oleksandr Stets -were also awarded with prizes and diplomas.
The exhibition in the foyer of the RSA presents more than three dozen works made by young photographers. They were chosen by professionals, because the exhibition was co-organized by the Photographers Association of Transcarpathia.
Talented children were congratulated by the head of the Union of Photographers of Transcarpathia Volodymyr Norba and the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine Vasyl Husti, who gave pupils of orphanages his books.
