The perpetrator in a fatal accident in Irshava district has been arrested

Law enforcement officers have arrested a 30-year-old resident of the village of Bilky suspected of committing a fatal accident that killed a 17-year-old resident of the village of Bronka.
Today, December 20, the court imposed a pre-trial restraint on the perpetrator of the accident, which happened on December 14 in Irshava district. The 30-year-old resident of the village of Bilky, Irshava district, is reasonably suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 288 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules that led to the death of the victim). The man was driving a Volkswagen Passat while being intoxicated.
It was found out that the driver had lost control and collided with a concrete bus stop. As a result of the accident, a 17-year-old passenger of the car died.
The police detained the perpetrator of the fatal road accident in accordance with Article 208 of the CCP, and today the court imposed on him a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention
