By popular request, on December 10 (Thursday), 2015, at 17.00, the TRANSCARPATHIAN REGIONAL THEATER OF DRAMA AND COMEDY of Mukachevo will present a drama based on memoirs of the great French singer "Edith Piaf" on the stage of the Transcarpathian Regional Music and Drama Theater (the performance is in Russian)
"Our performance is unusual, musical, far from trying to portray everyday life or embelish the biography – as a revelation from above. This is the poetic reflection of life, person, situation and, in general, love. What is true love, what can be sacrificed for the sake of this magic feeling? We will show a sincere fantasy, a series of episodes from the life of Edith Piaf which, as a record, reflect mysticism and reality, glitter and poverty, love and pain, ups and downs of the "sparrow of Paris". Viewers will dive into the atmosphere of French chanson of the early 20th century, hear a unique magnetic music which Edith Piaf fully dedicated herself to. The music which turned Piaf into legend" – the theater announced.
