The Pedestrian bridge that connects Teatralna Square and Petofi Square is again in the spotlight. Recall, we tried to draw the attention of local authorities to the need for its repair. Specifically, we focused on the hole, which was formed on the Teatralna Square side, and, to our delight, in early June, the hole disappeared (it was concreted over.)
This time our lens caught a crack in the middle of the bridge, and we decided that the government should know about it.
Every day hundreds of tourists and Uzhgorod residents walk the bridge, sometimes people observe events ("Bride Parade", "Uzhgorod Regatta") from it. Every year dozens of lovers padlocks appear on the pedestrian bridge.
So, the bridge got tired…
