The peak of the flood on the Latorytsia river is being formed in Mukachevo. The first deputy mayor of Mukachevo Rostislav Fediv reported that there is no threat of flooding in the city.
"According to the automated information-measuring system of flood forecasting and water management, the peak of the flood wave on the Latorytsia river is being formed in Mukachevo. According to this system, in the upper Latorytsia, the water level is decreasing. In the coming days, cold weather is expected, which also will stop rise of the water level in the river. At present, there is no threat of flooding in the city of Mukachevo" – Rostislav Fediv said.
