The Party of Regions failed the election in Tyachiv district

At the early election of Tarasivska village head (Tyachiv district) that occurred yesterday, the Secretary of the Village Council Lyubov Rusnak won, having received more than 46 percent of votes – the head of the village election committee Mykhailo Dykun reported. Voter turnout was 42.5 percent. In total, 956 voters of 2,246, who were eligible to vote, voted.

  The second place at the election went to the recreation center director Mykola Fitsay – 19.5%. In total, 8 candidates competed for the post of the village head. The nominee of the Party of Regions, unemployed Vasyl Dykun received 5.7%, local policeman Vitaly Fitsay – 1.4%, country club manager Ivan Matsola – 4.6% and the unemployed Oleksandr Berdar – 8.6%, Ivan Deket – 2% and Mykola Plyska – 5.1%.

The previous village head – Serhiy Deket – died late last year.
