Today, October 26, in Mukachevo, on the day of liberation of the city from the Nazis, there was a rally against the relocation of soldiers who died during World War II and are buried in the city center.
City residents, veterans and representatives of public organizations and private businesses came to the Obelisk of Glory to express their protest. The protesters said they would not allow to tarnish the memory of fallen soldiers and victims of the mass shooting, who are buried in those graves, and will make every effort to protect the burial from any intervention, the press service of the regional organization of the Party of Regions, which has initiated the rally, reported.
As you know, the idea to move the ashes of heroes from the city center tf the cemetery attracted great attention.
