The participants of the nationwide bicycle race are already in Kyiv

Today, August 23, the participants of the bicycle race Uzhgorod – Kyiv dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine reached the capital, the Holos Karpat reported.

The cyclists spent last night in Zhytomyr. Today, the Transcarpathians overcame the last section of the route and now are already in Kyiv.

Tomorrow, August 24, at 11.00, the cyclists will start from the ENEA and finish at the monument to participants of the war in Afghanistan. The participants of the bicycle race will also honor the memory of the fallen participants of the ATO.

Recall that the nationwide veteran bike ride started on August 16 in Uzhgorod. On the way to Kyiv, the race participants honored the memory of the soldiers fallen in Afghanistan in Mukachevo, paid tribute to the fallen participants of the ATO, the war in Afghanistan and laid flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Lviv.
