The parliamentary group “People’s Council of Transcarpathia” has been established in the regional council

The parliamentary group "People’s Council of Transcarpathia" has been established in the regional council. The group includes all the members of the regional council – representatives of factions "United Center", "Batkivshchyna" and "Front of Changes." The negotiations to include the parliamentary faction "KMKS" to the interfactional association are ongoing. 

Authorized representatives of the parliamentary group "People’s Council of Transcarpathia" are members from the factions of the "United Center" – Volodymyr Chubirko, "Batkivshchyna" – Anton Livrints, and "Front of Changes" – Miroslav Biletsky. As the representatives of the newly created group noted, deputies of the "Party of Regions" can also join it, if they withdraw from the pro-government party.

The association is composed of deputies who defend the European future of the country, favour the protection of the Constitution, the constitutional order and democracy, parliamentarism and oppose dictatorship and the usurpation of power. The People’s Council of Transcarpathia supports the demands of the People’s Council of Ukraine as to the restoration of the Constitution of 2004, which shall restore law and order, the balance between the branches of government, their independence from one another and ensure the introduction of real local self-government in Ukraine.
