Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recommended the Central Election Commission to appoint new elections in five single-member constituencies.
This decision was voted by 268 deputies out of 349 registered in the session hall.
According to the approved resolution, the Parliament recommended CEC to appoint re-election in single-member constituencies number 94, 132, 194, 197 and 223 according to the law on parliamentary elections.
Besides the CEC should ensure its implementation.
The resolution also provides that the amount of expenditure required for re-election shall be determined, and the government shall take measures to finance these new elections.
The resolution was proposed by MP from the Party of Regions Oleksandr Kozub.
