The Parliament has increased the expenditures of the Ministry of Education for printing and purchase of textbooks for secondary schools by more than UAH 130 million.
262 deputies voted for the relevant bill №2335a.
"The law increases the expenditures of the Ministry of Education to finance the budget program for logistic support of educational institutions by UAH 131 million, and at the same time reduces expenditure for the Verkhovna Rada administration by the same amount," – the explanatory note states.
As noted by the deputies, while discussing the bill, the money will be used for printing, purchase and delivery of textbooks for secondary educational institutions in state and municipal ownership.
