The first and only horizontal sun-dial in the region in the style of "7 Wonders of Transcarpathia" has been installed in the "Mustard Seed" lane.
It was the idea of Fedir Shandor and blacksmith artists Stepan Rusnak and Roman Murnyk.
"After Fedir’s request, I had the idea of a coin clock with a pair of feet in the middle," – Roman says. "We drew a sketch, had it approved, and now we have installed it." Stepan said that the making of the mould itself took three weeks, and it was cast at the Turbogaz plant in 4 days.
The clock is made in the form of a coin with a pair of feet in the middle. The clock is made in the style of Seven Wonders of Transcarpathia, since the indicators are marked with "gems" of the region.
By stepping on the footprints on the manhole cover (size 46), a person serves as a gnomon, and the shadow tells the time by pointing to a certain mark.
The celebration on this occasion will be held on Friday, at 14:00.
