The only city in the region without individual heating system is Rakhiv

Last year, houses in the four cities of the region, namely: Chop, Mukachevo, Vinogradiv and Uzhgorod, remained connected to the central heating system. Already at the beginning of this heating season all the houses were rearranged for individual heating system. The only city of the region without independent heating is Rakhiv, where about 35 houses use district heating system. The reason is that the mountain city as of today is not gasified. The heating in the city is ensured by the municipal boiler room running on alternative form of fuel – wood waste.
