The official opening of the “Owl’s Nest” will take place on August 24 (PHOTOS)

The reconstruction of the architectural complex "Owl’s Nest" is at the finish line. After numerous conflicts, under close control of regulatory agencies and the public, the Lviv company "Transbud" is finishing the construction work.

"When we accepted the facility and examined it, we realized that we had to change the concept of the reconstruction. The cost of works increased a little, but we had to save one of the buildings immediately", – the director of the contractor Volodymyr Martsenyuk said.

The hardest part, according to the builders, was to clear the premises from garbage that had been accumulating there for decades.  

The total area of ​​restoration work was almost 900 square meters. The official opening of the complex is scheduled for Independence Day, August 24, and the first wine festival will take place in the renovated wine cellar on the Day of Uzhgorod.

In the premises of "Bogolvar", there will be a wine museum, a hall for meetings of official delegations, a concert hall, a tasting room for special events, and tourist information center.
